What makes us different?

There is no one single solution to protecting your home against flooding. Having flood insurance cover is just one way in which you can help manage your flood risk, but there are many other things you can do to protect your property.
If your property is at an increased risk of flooding, the chance of you making a claim are higher than average. Water can enter your property in minutes but it can take many months to remove it in its entirety and return you to normality.
When it comes to managing flooding we all have a role to play. Helen joined Flood Assist in January 2022 having worked within the general insurance industry since 2004. The majority of her experience has been in specialist home insurance for thatch, listed, high net worth and flood risk properties.

Our Insurer Panel

Insuring high flood risk homes and business isn't everyone's cup of tea. Flood Re has been a financial lifeline for many but there is still much work to do to promote awareness of the scheme and increase its availability.
Our insurer panel want to support homes in high flood risk areas, they know that our clients face a higher risk to flooding than most and they're set up to respond and support our clients when they need it most.
